Dr. Wayne Albrect is the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center Executive Director. The Pastoral Counseling and Education Center (PCEC) was established in 1968 by the Greater Dallas Community of Churches. It is the largest not for profit, outpatient mental health agency in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Clients, ranging in age from 3 to 80+ years, come for individual, couple, family or group therapy at realistic affordable fees. In addition to the main offices at 4525 Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, there are 30 satellite offices located throughout the area.
The Center maintains a faith inclusive counseling stance, that respects and honors the faith tradition of all who seek counseling. It recognizes that healing requires treatment of the whole person - body, mind and spirit.
PCEC is accredited as both a Counseling Center and a Training Center by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. The Center is an approved provider for a number of employee assistance programs, insurance companies and area businesses. We have over 20 professional counselors available to work with clients.
The Pastoral Counseling and Education Center is a not for profit organization accredited by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the Samaritan Institute. |
